An application to wind up Group Lotus plc will be heard by the HM Courts and Tribunals Service today, although the Norfolk-based sports car company says there is no chance of it being liquidated.
According to today's Companies Court Winding Up list, Group Lotus ? which comprises Lotus Cars, Lotus Motorsport and Lotus Engineering ? will go before Registrar Baister in Companies Court this morning.
Such cases are often the result of a creditor or group of creditors seeking to have a company's assets liquidated as a result of failure to pay debts.
However, Group Lotus spokesman Alastair Florance told Autocar the appearance of Group Lotus plc on the Companies Court Winding Up list was the result of a contested petition from a supplier that ?was settled amicably several weeks ago?.
Group Lotus will not be wound up, or liquidated, said Florance. The petition still exists on the court lists because once the process begins it has to be completed before a judge. Group Lotus plc is expected to issue a statement on the matter shortly.
The bosses of the Lotus F1 team are keen to stress that the changes do not involve or affect them at all. Permissions for the use of the Lotus name on the current F1 car, however, come from a deal with Group Lotus plc.
Heikel wird der 31. März 2013. Dann enden Vertragsbestimmungen vom Lotus Verkauf (Garantien für Lohnzahlungen etc.). Möglicherweise rumpelt es dann nochmals asiatisch bevor es dann hoffentlich wieder vernünftig und mit voller Auslastung englisch weitergeht.

Hier noch die Antwort aus Pistionheads: Good news! Lotus has this afternoon confirmed that a winding-up order that was applied for will not result in any further action against the company.
Lotus added in its statement that the winding-up order had been the result of a contractual dispute earlier this year, which had since been resolved amicably. As a result, the court has dismissed the petition.

Ein 3-Jahresplan für Lotus des neuen Investors - Super Ich denke das ist die Rettung für die nächsten Jahre, wie vermutet.
Zudem steht, dass im letzten Jahr 2012 total 80 Lotus verkauft wurden ab Hethel und bis Mai dieses Jahres bereits 70 das Werk verliessen. In % tönt das doch schon ganz ordentlich. 8)
Der neue Esprit könnte noch für wenig Aufwand zur Serienreife gelangen (ich wette immer noch der kommt).

Ich finde den Bericht nicht besonders positiv. Ich glaube nicht, dass dadurch Neukunden dazukommen. Tönt so nach verzweifeltem Überlebenskampf und der neue Versuch in München wird als netter Versuch betitelt......
...was im Moment ja auch stimmt, aber formulieren sollte man dies anders.
Es zeigt sich einfach einmal mehr, dass dem Journalisten besser ein vorbereiteter Text mitgegeben wird. Dann steigen die Chancen, dass das zum Ausdruck kommt, was man will.
